MUUMEJA - MOOMINS

 

Tänään postilaatikosta löytyi kivaa postia. Suomen Postcrossingyhdistys lähetti jäsenilleen ihania muumi-kortteja. Yhdistyksen vuoden taiteilija on Tove Jansson ja kun vielä muumit täyttävät tänä vuonna 80 vuotta, niin kortit sopivat erityisen hyvin tänä vuonna lähetettäviksi.

Monet ulkomaalaisetkin toivovat saavansa muumikortteja ja kun minulla ei niitä ennestään montaa ollut, niin tämä lähetys tuntui erityisen mieluisalta.

Kuvassa keltavoittoinen kortti on kirjasta "Kuinkas sitten kävikään", ylimmäinen kirjasta "Kuka lohduttaisi Nyytiä?"ja tuo kolmas kirjasta "Taikurin hattu".

Today I found some nice mail in my mailbox. The Finnish Postcrossing Association sent its members lovely Moomin cards. The association's artist of the year is Tove Jansson and since the Moomin are turning 80 this year, the cards are particularly suitable to send this year. Many foreigners also hope to receive Moomin cards and since I didn't have many of them before, this sending felt especially nice. The yellow winning card in the picture is from the book "Kuinkas sitten kävikään", the top one is from the book "Kuka lohduttaissai Nyytiä?" and the third one is from the book "Taikurin hattu".

Postcrossingia on voinut harrastaa tänä vuonna 20 vuoden ajan ja Suomen yhdistys täyttää 10 vuotta. Postcrossing-harrastajia on ympäri maailmaa yli kahdestasadasta maasta.

Tässä kuvassa päällimmäinen kortti on kirjasta "Muumipeikko ja pyrstötähti", keskimmäinen kirjasta "Vaarallinen matka" ja alimmainen kirjasta "Kuka lohduttaisi Nyytiä?"

Postcrossing has been possible for 20 years this year and the Finnish association is celebrating its 10th anniversary. There are Postcrossing enthusiasts from over two hundred countries around the world. In this picture, the top card is from the book "Moomin and the Comet", the middle one is from the book "The Dangerous Journey" and the bottom one is from the book "Who will comfort Noodle?

Muumihahmojen lisäksi yhdessä kortissa oli itse Tove Janssonin kuva. Vuoden jäsenkorttikin on muumi-aiheinen.

Vasemman puoleinen kortti on kansikuva kirjasta "Muumipappa ja meri" ja Tove Janssonin on kuvannut Per Olav Jansson. Alinna on oma jäsenkorttini.

Nyt pystyn helpommin täyttämään monen toiveen muumikortin saamisesta.

In addition to the Moomin characters, one of the cards had a picture of Tove Jansson herself. The membership card for the year is also Moomin-themed. The card on the left is the cover of the book "Moominpappa and the Sea" and Tove Jansson was photographed by Per Olav Jansson. The bottom one is my own membership card. Now I can more easily fulfill the wishes of many people to receive a Moomin card. Thank you to the association for the nice gift.
