UPEITA MAISEMIA - STUNNING LANDSCAPES

 

Kuusi korttia samana päivänä. Sitä ei ole vielä ennen minulle tapahtunut.

Ensimmäisenä esittelen tämän ihastuttavan kortin, joka tulee Itävallasta Anitalta.

Anita asuu Graz-nimisessä kaupungissa, jonka keskusta on nimetty Unescon maailmanperintökohteisiin. 

Anita kertoo myös että hän on kaksi kertaa osallistunut Ahvenanmaan postcrossing-tapaamiseen ja että hän on myös Suomen Postcrossingyhdistyksen jäsen, wau!

Six cards in one day. That has never happened to me before. First I present this lovely card, which comes from Anita from Austria. Anita lives in a city called Graz, whose center is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Anita also says that she has participated in the Åland postcrossing meeting twice and that she is also a member of the Finnish Postcrossing Association, wow! Thank you for the beautiful card Anita!

No entäs tämä kortti sitten. Jotenkin nostalginen kuva ja Sveitsin maisemat ovat aina yhtä upeita. Raik kirjoittaa että hän asuu Alpeilla ja kysyy tiesinkö että vaikka Sveitsi on pieni maa, niin heillä on neljä virallista kieltä eli saksa, ranska, italia ja retoromaani. Tiesin kyllä että heillä monta virallista kieltä on ja olenkin miettinyt miten paljon työtä ja samanmielisyyttä siellä vaaditaan jotta kaikki kielet tulevat huomioiduiksi tasapuolisesti!

Raik writes that he lives in the Alps and asks if I knew that even though Switzerland is a small country, they have four official languages, namely German, French, Italian and Romansh. I knew that they have many official languages ​​and I have been wondering how much work and unity is required there to ensure that all languages ​​are considered equally!

Tämä kortti tulee USA:sta, jossa Don asustaa Floridassa. Don on eläkkeellä oleva armeijan upseeri ja on työnsä puolesta asunut eri paikoissa. Nyt hän asuu pikkukaupungissa runsaat 60 km Kennedy Space Centeristä. Hän voi nähdä kun raketteja laukaistaan taivaalle.

This card comes from the USA, where Don lives in Florida. Don is a retired army officer and has lived in different places for his job. He now lives in a small town about 60 km from Kennedy Space Center. He can see the rockets being launched into the sky.

Vintage-kortit ovat suosikkejani ja tässä kortissa on vielä niin kauniit väritkin. Sen lähetti Alvean joka asuu Irlannissa.

Texasissa on kaikki suurta, eikö niin sanota! Ainakin tämä Kimberin kortti oli suurin tähän asti saamistani. Harmi kun se oli kärsinyt matkalla ja yläreunan aaltoileva muoto oli osittain taittunut. Kimber asuu Houstonissa jossa kortin kirjoituspäivänä oli kuumaa, lähes 34°C. 

Kortissa herätti ihmetystä se että Kimber oli teipannut osoitteen lisäksi myös postimerkin, joten mitään leimaa siihen ei ollut laitettu.

Hyvä saalis oli tällä kertaa. Korttien määrä lisääntyy sitä mukaa kun niitä lähettää. Kun aloitin postcrossauksen sai korttejani olla matkalla saajille samaan aikaan kuusi kappaletta, nyt kymmenen. Jos tahti kiihtyy kovaa vauhtia, niin voi olla että en voi niitä kaikkia täällä näyttää, vaan valitsen ehkä vaan mieluisimmat. Mutta toistaiseksi jatkan tällä linjalla. Miltä kuulostaa, joko kortteja tulee ovista ja ikkunoista?

Everything is big in exas, isn't it? At least this card from Kimber was the biggest I've received so far. Too bad it had suffered during the journey and the wavy shape of the top edge was partially folded. Kimber lives in Houston where it was hot on the day the card was written, almost 34°C. What surprised me about the card was that Kimber had taped a postage stamp in addition to the address, so no stamp had been put on it. It was a good catch this time. The number of cards increases as you send them. When I started postcrossing, six of my cards were on their way to the recipients at the same time, now ten. If the pace picks up quickly, I may not be able to show them all here, but I may just choose the ones I like the most. But for now, I'll continue on this path.
